Chicken Prices in East Nusa Tenggara are the Highest in Indonesia (Tuesday, November 29, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of chicken (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 41,710 per kg, data as of Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 41,460 per kg.

The daily price of chicken in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 55,000 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 78,650 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in DKI Jakarta, the price of chicken was sold at Rp 52,100 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken in Maluku was Rp 51,750 per kg, Jambi Rp 51,150 per kg, and Gorontalo Rp 50,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, there were 18 provinces with chicken prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest chicken selling prices were North Kalimantan, North Sumatra, and West Sulawesi.
