Banten Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Sunday, March 31, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (31/3/2024) at 09.02 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, chicken eggs, premium rice, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, medium rice, curly red chilies, dry soybean (import), and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp900 (11.19%) to Rp8,940 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp4,420 (10.36%) to Rp38,260 per kg.

9. Milkfish: Rp31,070 per kg (down 3.81%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,640 per kg (up 0.99%)
