Other Government Investments Reached Rp618 Trillion at the End of 2021

Based on data from the Ministry of Finance, Indonesia's government-owned Other Permanent Investments reached Rp618.25 trillion by the end of 2021.

This figure decreased by Rp9.49 trillion (1.51%) from the end of the previous year, triggered by a decrease in the government's investment in Bank Indonesia (BI) by Rp35.3 trillion.

The largest portion of the government's Other Permanent Investments was in BI, reaching Rp405.16 trillion in 2021. This figure decreased by 8% from the previous year's Rp440.46 trillion.

Other Permanent Investments in the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) reached Rp161.15 trillion at the end of last year. This figure increased by 15.78% from the previous year.

Furthermore, Other Permanent Investments in other Government Equity Participation (PMP) amounted to Rp51.95 trillion in 2021. This figure also grew by 8% from the previous year.

* Former State-Owned Legal Entities (BHMN) Higher Education Institutions (PT): Rp29.49 trillion
* BPJS: Rp22.81 trillion (BPJS Kesehatan Rp10.6 trillion and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Rp12.17 trillion)
