Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Buffalo Meat Rises, Red Chili Decreases

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 10, 2025) at 13.20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases include mackerel, frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), corn at the farmer level, bulk wheat flour, and dried soybean seeds (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, milkfish, premium rice, skipjack tuna, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices jumped the highest by Rp1,303 (3.15%) to Rp42,684 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp1,944 (3.63%) to Rp51,667 per kg.
