Today's Food Price Update in West Java: Prices of Oil, Onions, and Eggs Rise (Wednesday, March 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (13/3/2024) at 12:16 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, granulated sugar, bulk cooking oil, shallots, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase is livestock-level corn, up by Rp400 (5.97%) to Rp7,100 per kg. The commodity with the lowest price decrease is pure beef, down by Rp2,330 (1.67%) to Rp137,600 per kg.
