Food Prices Today, December 3rd in Indonesia: Red Cayenne Pepper Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (3/12/2025) at 2:21 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 increased and 1 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, red cayenne pepper, red onion, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, only curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest increase of Rp1,300 (2.08%) to Rp63,800 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili decreased the most by Rp700 (1.2%) to Rp57,600 per kg.
