Bali Food Price Update Today: Egg Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Wednesday, March 27, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (27/3/2024) at 09.27 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, farmer-level corn, red chilies, broiler chicken meat, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp480 (1.64%) to Rp29,710 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,970 (10.12%) to Rp35,240 per kg.
