Today's Food Prices (24/2) in Lampung: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Red Chili Peppers Fall

Some food commodity prices in Lampung today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (February 24, 2026) at 16:48 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases are bulk palm cooking oil, beef rump, Honan garlic, red bird's eye chili, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as large red chili peppers, Minyakita, curly red chili peppers, and wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp2,865 (4.97%) to Rp60,476 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili pepper prices fell the steepest by Rp1,539 (3.79%) to Rp39,038 per kg.

7. Honan Garlic: Rp33,679 per kg (up 0.5%)
