Daily Cooking Oil Prices in Jambi Province's Traditional Markets Increased by 0.99% Over the Past Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of cooking oil in Jambi province's traditional markets is recorded at Rp20,350. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of cooking oil in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp20,150.

Meanwhile, the daily price of cooking oil in traditional markets in Jambi over the last three months has increased by 8.53% from the previous trading price of Rp18,750.

The highest record of daily cooking oil price increases in the province's traditional markets was previously recorded in March 2022 with an increase of 21.74%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2023 with a decrease of -8.85%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Jambi show two commodities decreased and 25 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Low-Quality Rice I and Medium-Quality Rice I.
