Today's Food Price Update in West Java: Prices of Cooking Oil, Eggs, and Salt Drop (Saturday, February 3, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (February 3rd, 2024) at 08:13 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, premium rice, whole garlic cloves, simple packaged cooking oil, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, broiler chicken, shallots, Indian mackerel, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Simple packaged cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp830 (4.88%), reaching Rp17,830 per liter. Shallots experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp5,380 (18.86%), reaching Rp23,140 per kg.
