Today's Food Prices in East Java: Cooking Oil Rises, Bird's Eye Chili Drops

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (27/10/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, Minyakita cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, red onion, farmer-level corn, garlic (whole bulb), and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest surge, up Rp306 (1.75%) to Rp17,776 per liter. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices fell the deepest, down Rp1,228 (5.36%) to Rp21,698 per kg.
