Today's Food Prices in West Java: Onions Up, Rice Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (11/11/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), shallots, red chilies, pure beef, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp930 (2.64%) to Rp36,120 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most, dropping Rp200 (1.99%) to Rp9,870 per kg.
