Central Java Food Prices Today: Unknown Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (26/3/2025) at 11:22 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include large red chilies, pure beef, fresh buffalo meat (local), packaged cooking oil, and table salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper, skipjack tuna, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fresh buffalo meat (local) saw the highest price increase of Rp3,889 (2.66%), reaching Rp150,000 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price decrease of Rp879 (1.86%), reaching Rp46,257 per kg.
