West Java Food Price Update Today: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Tuesday, February 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (13/2/2024) at 09.19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, milkfish, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, shallot bulbs, mackerel, red chilies, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium rice saw the highest price increase of Rp870 (6.05%) to Rp15,260 per kg. Mackerel experienced the largest price decrease of Rp3,000 (7.51%) to Rp36,960 per kg.

7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,760 per kg (up 1.38%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp33,790 per kg (down 7.42%)
9. Shallots: Rp28,670 per kg (up 1.67%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (up 0.76%)
