Food Prices on Monday (February 24th) in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Chicken and Onion Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 13:58 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, large red chilies, dry soybean (import), medium-grain rice, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, up by Rp889 (2.72%) to Rp33,593 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp309 (0.91%) to Rp33,750 per kg.
