Current Food Prices in Central Java: Prices of Sugar, Cooking Oil, and Beef Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (29/10/2024) at 13:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, milkfish, garlic cloves, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, mackerel, skipjack tuna, pure beef, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies surged the highest by Rp890 (4.1%) to Rp22,620 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers decreased the most by Rp260 (0.68%) to Rp38,180 per kg.
