Current Food Prices in Central Java, How Much are Chilies?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (10/7/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 17 commodities increased in price and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, dry soybean (import), milkfish, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, broiler chicken, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,350 (7.5%) to Rp33,670 per kg. The price of red chilies saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp3,740 (9.38%) to Rp36,140 per kg.
