Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Red Chili Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (16/10/2025) at 1:20 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were bulk cooking oil, curly red chili, medium rice, broiler chicken meat, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, consumption sugar, Minyakita, packaged wheat flour, and dried soybeans (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp1,331 (2.47%) to Rp55,278 per kg. The price of red bird's eye chili decreased the most by Rp1,038 (2.46%) to Rp41,136 per kg.
