Latest Food Prices in Banten Region: Salt, Beef, and Buffalo Meat Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have risen compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (October 18, 2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 18 commodities rose and 5 commodities fell.

Commodities with rising prices include packaged wheat flour, mackerel, pure beef, packaged cooking oil, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, dried soybeans (imported), curly red chili, red cayenne pepper, and garlic bulb decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of large red chili rose the highest by Rp4,769 (9.49%) to Rp55,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili fell the sharpest by Rp1,486 (2.51%) to Rp57,632 per kg.
