Food Prices Saturday (20/9) in D.I Yogyakarta: Salt Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (20/9/2025) at 12:11 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 7 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red cayenne pepper, mackerel, consumption salt, bulk wheat flour, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, premium rice, packaged cooking oil, Minyakita, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt increased the most by Rp539 (4.61%) to Rp12,235 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of packaged wheat flour decreased the sharpest by Rp411 (3.53%) to Rp11,219 per kg.
