Latest Food Prices in Aceh Region: Oil and Sugar Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (12/6/2024) at 12.07 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, mackerel fish, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, dry soybean seeds (import), red chilies, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Simple packaged cooking oil saw the highest price increase, up by Rp620 (3.38%) to Rp18,970 per liter. Shallots experienced the largest price drop, down by Rp800 (1.66%) to Rp47,470 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas as of June 12, 2024, at 12.07 WIB.

7. Chicken Meat: Rp31,330 per kg (up 0.58%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,450 per kg (up 0.3%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,910 per kg (up 2.55%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,970 per liter (up 3.38%)
