Current Food Prices in Aceh: Sugar and Onion Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (August 26, 2025) at 08:34 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 7 increased and 17 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken, pure beef, medium rice, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, consumption sugar, curly red chili, fresh buffalo meat (local), and mackerel fish decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest jump of Rp2,868 (10.58%) to Rp29,985 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh buffalo meat (local) dropped most sharply by Rp146,667 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.

5. Red Bird''s Eye Chili: Rp40,000 per kg (down 8.2%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp31,900 per kg (up 2.29%)
7. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,985 per kg (up 10.58%)
8. Curly Red Chili: Rp27,000 per kg (down 18.96%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,000 per kg (down 23.15%)
