Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra: Egg, Beef, and Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (13/11/2024) at 09.49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, mackerel, pure beef, chicken eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp240 (2.09%) to Rp11,700 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price drop of Rp1,630 (6.15%) to Rp24,890 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in South Sumatra according to Bapanas on November 13, 2024, at 09.49 WIB.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,890 per kg (down 6.15%)
