Today's Food Prices in Bali: Chili Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (17/7/2024) at 15.54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, medium rice, garlic bulbs, milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, up by Rp550 (2.27%) to Rp24.830 per kg. The price of milkfish experienced the steepest decrease, down by Rp19.980 (53.58%) to Rp17.310 per kg.
