Daily Fresh Chicken Meat Prices at Traditional Markets, February 2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp28,150. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly unchanged over the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets has increased from Rp23,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the last three months has decreased by 2.6%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province was traded at Rp28,900.

The record high for the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2019 with an increase of 31.44%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a decrease of -22.5%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Sulawesi show four commodities decreased and 14 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Curly Red Chili, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Garlic, and Medium-Sized Garlic.
