Today's Food Prices (04/2) in Banten: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Oil Falls

Several food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (February 4, 2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

The commodities that experienced price increases are curly red chili, large red chili, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities like Minyakita and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp2,334 (3.23%) to Rp74,667 per kg. Meanwhile, Minyakita prices fell the sharpest by Rp107 (0.68%) to Rp15,700 per liter.
