Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chilies, Sugar, and Beef Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (17/11/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, milkfish, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chili peppers, simple packaged cooking oil, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,730 (12.77%) to Rp15,280 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel decreased the most, by Rp1,480 (3.92%) to Rp36,310 per kg.
