Aceh Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Thursday, January 25, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (25/1/2024) at 14.40 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and chicken meat.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,690 (13.4%) to Rp39,690 per kg. Onions had the lowest price decrease of Rp980 (2.72%) to Rp35,010 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp32,810 per kg (down 1.32%)
7. Curly Red Chilies: Rp32,710 per kg (up 0.28%)
8. Chicken Meat: Rp28,320 per kg (up 0.89%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,250 per kg (down 2.25%)
