Aceh Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Egg Prices Down (Friday, March 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (8/3/2024) at 14:29 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium-grain rice, milkfish, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, premium rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,480 (10.58%), reaching Rp36,360 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel decreased the least, by Rp1,380 (2.91%), reaching Rp46,030 per kg.
