Food Prices Today (28/11) in Central Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (28/11/2025) at 15:34 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 increased and 3 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are red bird's eye chili, curly red chili, and imported soybeans.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium packaged palm cooking oil, large red chili, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili surged the highest by Rp2,129 (5.06%) to Rp44,222 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp375 (0.71%) to Rp52,250 per kg.
