Depok City's PDRB and ADHB by Sector in 2023

Depok City's 2023 Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp87.57 trillion. This represents a 5.05% growth compared to the previous year's Rp81.17 trillion.

Compared to the COVID-19 pandemic year of 2020, the region's economic growth is significantly higher. At the end of 2020, post-COVID, growth was recorded at a decrease of 1.92%.

According to BPS (Statistics Indonesia) publications, with a total population of 1.93 million, the GRDP per capita in this region is recorded at Rp40,820,000/capita/year. Nationally, this ranks 296th.

Of the 17 sectors driving the region's economy, the manufacturing industry is the leading sector.

The manufacturing sector ranks first. In 2023, this sector contributed the largest GRDP value, reaching Rp25.28 trillion, with a growth of 4.27%.

Following this are the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector, which grew by 4.82% to Rp18.48 trillion; and the construction sector, which grew by 4.91% to Rp18.32 trillion.

Other sectors contributing to the top five include financial and insurance services with a GRDP of Rp3.78 trillion.

According to its distribution, the main sector contributing the largest growth to Depok City's GRDP is the manufacturing sector, with a contribution of 28.59%. Other sectors in the top five are construction, wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, other services, and information and communication.

The sectors with the smallest distribution are Health and Social Activities Services, Electricity and Gas Supply, Company Services, Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling, and Mining and Quarrying.
