Current Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Sugar, Beef, and Onions Rise

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (27/4/2024) at 13:29 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, chicken eggs, pure beef, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, premium rice, dry soybean (import), medium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp740 (7.03%), reaching Rp11,270 per kg. The price of mackerel experienced the lowest decrease of Rp350 (0.88%), reaching Rp39,430 per kg.
