Today's Food Prices (11/3) in South Sumatra: Red Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

Several food commodity prices in South Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) at 17:13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are curly red chili, large red chili, beef rump, bulk granulated sugar, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, only shallots decreased compared to yesterday's price.

The large red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp711 (2.18%) to Rp33,389 per kg. As for shallots, the price dropped the most by Rp137 (0.38%) to Rp35,667 per kg.
