Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chicken Prices Up, Sugar Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (28/12/2024) at 09.44 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, pure beef, broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), SPHP rice, premium rice, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp1,510 (4.36%) to Rp36,140 per kg. The price of bulk wheat flour decreased the most, by Rp640 (7.09%) to Rp8,390 per kg.
