Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chicken Meat Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food ingredients in South Sumatra today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (August 30, 2025) at 13.51 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are curly red chili, SPHP rice, consumption sugar, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, premium rice, garlic cloves, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp153 (0.47%) to Rp33,015 per kg. The price of large red chili decreased the most by Rp482 (1.37%) to Rp34,690 per kg.

8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp33,015 per kg (up 0.47%)
9. Milkfish: Rp27,823 per kg (down 0.16%)
