Today's Food Prices (06/2) in Central Java: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Onion Falls

Several food commodity prices in Central Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (February 6, 2026) at 15:17 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, premium rice, bulk palm cooking oil, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as shallots, medium rice, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp4,760 (6.82%) to Rp74,519 per kg. As for shallot prices, they fell the most by Rp148 (0.4%) to Rp37,204 per kg.

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,528 per kg (up 3.15%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,148 per liter (up 0.18%)
