Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Prices of Onions, Chicken, and Cooking Oil Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (June 3, 2024) at 11:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, farmer-level corn, mackerel, granulated sugar, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, shallots, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp620 (5.49%) to Rp11,920 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,060 (3.29%) to Rp31,160 per kg.
