Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Salt and Egg Prices Drop

The prices of several food ingredients in Jambi today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (September 17, 2025) at 08:41 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 4 increased and 21 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were shallots, bulk cooking oil, corn at the farmer level, and fresh buffalo meat (local).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, consumption sugar, skipjack tuna, large red chilies, and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Bulk cooking oil commodity surged the highest by Rp254 (1.66%) to Rp15,546 per liter. As for large red chili prices, they dropped the most by Rp31,950 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
