Yogyakarta Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Thursday, February 22, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (22/2/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, bulk cooking oil, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp5,470 (14.58%) to Rp43,000 per kg. Shallots had the lowest price decrease of Rp5,530 (20.09%) to Rp22,000 per kg.

4. Milkfish: Rp43,000 per kg (up 14.58%)
5. Mackerel: Rp38,000 per kg (down 1.45%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,000 per kg (up 4.9%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp35,000 per kg (up 2.55%)
8. Garlic Bulb: Rp33,000 per kg (down 5.25%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp30,000 per kg (up 4.28%)
