Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Prices of Oil, Chicken, and Chili Peppers Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (12/6/2024) at 13:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, Indian mackerel, farmer-level corn, shallots, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,880 (6.48%) to Rp30,870 per kg. The price of bulk wheat flour saw the largest decrease, dropping Rp70 (0.74%) to Rp9,400 per kg.
