Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chili, Rice, and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (21/10/2024) at 11:04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, and dry soybean seeds (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken meat surged the highest by Rp610 (1.67%) to Rp37,220 per kg. The price of dry soybean seeds (import) decreased the most sharply by Rp340 (3.42%) to Rp9,610 per kg.
