Of the 17 sectors driving economic activity in this regency, the construction sector is the leading contributor.
The construction sector ranked first, contributing the largest GRDP value in 2023, reaching Rp3.02 trillion. This represents a 3.33% growth.
Second is the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector, which grew by 0.44% to Rp2.87 trillion, followed by the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector in third place with a GRDP of Rp1.55 trillion (9.68% growth).
Rounding out the top five is the public administration, defense, and compulsory social security sector with a GRDP of Rp933.92 billion. This sector recorded a 5.33% growth compared to the previous year's Rp837.4 billion.
