Lampung Food Price Update Today: Sugar and Rice Prices Increase (Wednesday, February 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (14/2/2024) at 11:24 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, curly red chilies, medium rice, dry soybean (import), and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, garlic cloves, mackerel, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,410 (3.14%) to Rp79,250 per kg. The lowest price decrease was seen in packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), dropping Rp530 (3.79%) to Rp13,470 per kg.
