Realization of Natural Resource Revenue Sharing Funds Down 24.6% in 2020

The decline in government revenue due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic caused a decrease in the Natural Resource Sharing Funds (Dana Bagi Hasil or DBH) transferred to regional governments last year.

Based on data from the Ministry of Finance, the realization of DBH SDA decreased by 24.62% to Rp 46.5 trillion in 2020 compared to Rp 61.68 trillion in the previous year.

The realization of DBH SDA for general mining decreased by 11.93% to Rp 22.8 trillion in 2020 compared to Rp 25.88 trillion in the previous year. The realization of DBH SDA for natural gas decreased by 36.45% to Rp 10.64 trillion last year compared to Rp 16.74 trillion in the previous year.

The realization of DBH SDA for crude oil decreased by 34.07% to Rp 10.03 trillion in 2020 from Rp 15.22 trillion in the previous year. Similarly, the realization of DBH SDA for geothermal energy decreased by 2.87% to Rp 1.33 trillion last year from Rp 1.37 trillion in the previous year.

The realization of DBH for forestry decreased by 38.8% to Rp 1.3 trillion last year compared to Rp 2.12 trillion in the previous year. Meanwhile, the realization of DBH for fisheries increased by 14.3% to Rp 400.29 billion last year compared to Rp 350.2 billion in the previous year.

A total of Rp 33.66 trillion in DBH SDA was transferred to the City/Regency Governments last year. Meanwhile, Rp 12.84 trillion in DBH SDA was transferred to Provincial Governments.
