Sumatera Selatan Food Price List Today: Chili, Oil, and Rice Prices Increase (Saturday, March 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (9/3/2024) at 09.38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, medium rice, shallots, mackerel fish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of bulk cooking oil surged the highest by Rp400 (2.65%) to Rp15,520 per liter. The price of bulk wheat flour decreased the most by Rp390 (4.1%) to Rp9,130 per kg.
