Food Prices Wednesday (10/7) Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chicken, Beef, and Eggs Drop

Food prices in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (10/7/2024) at 13.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, shallots, farmer-level corn, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic cloves, SPHP rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp690 (17.25%) to Rp4,690 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the steepest decrease, down by Rp4,190 (11.24%) to Rp33,100 per kg.
