Latest Food Prices in West Java: Beef Prices Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (October 29, 2025) at 08.44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 21 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, consumption sugar, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef commodity saw the highest increase of Rp2,202 (1.66%) to Rp134,500 per kg. The price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp105,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
