Current Food Prices in Bali: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include cooking oil (loose), wheat flour (loose), medium-grain rice, mackerel fish, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, shallots, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Cooking oil (loose) saw the highest price increase of Rp1,450 (8.17%) to Rp19,200 per liter. Fine iodized salt experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,400 (11.16%) to Rp11,140 per kg.
