Recreational, Sports, and Cultural Expenditures in Bungo Regency Decreased by 0.3% in February

Expenditure on newspapers, books, and school supplies in Bungo Regency decreased by 0.3% in February. This figure is lower than the previous month's 3.45%. Among the seven inflation groups measured in this region, the recreation, sports, and culture group contributed 0.24% to the region's inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for recreation, sports, and culture in Bungo Regency was at 105.04 in February 2024, lower than the previous month's 105.36.

Compared to the same month last year, inflation in recreation, sports, and culture has decreased by 3.84% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, expenditure in Bungo Regency has experienced a growth of -0.3% (year-to-date/YTD).

Compared to the other 11 groups, this inflation group ranks third.

The following are the inflation sub-groups for recreation, sports, and culture measured by BPS for February in Bungo Regency:

Compared to 65 other regencies/cities, the highest inflation in recreation, sports, and culture occurred in Palembang City, down 0.13% with a CPI of 105.21, and the lowest occurred in Muara Enim Regency, down 0.61% with a CPI of 104.61. Bungo Regency ranks 48th.

National overall inflation in February 2024 was 0.37% monthly and -7.52% annually. Although higher than the previous month's inflation, this monthly inflation rate is not as high as the same period last year, which was recorded at 5.47%.
