Today's Food Prices (Jan 15) in West Java: Garlic Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (Jan 15, 2026) at 15:09 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 increased and 5 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are Honan garlic and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, large red chili, broiler chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The Honan garlic commodity saw the highest jump of Rp667 (1.88%) to Rp36,067 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili saw the sharpest decline of Rp817 (2.28%) to Rp34,983 per kg.
